    • Traded 2019 LHorn for a 24 Limited

Actually the (Limited) LongHorn but didn't see it as an option. Fully loaded, owned it for 6yrs, though I didn't put a lot of miles on it. Oh, the dash began to bubble (a little) and a woodtrim piece from the steering wheel started separating. Both attributed to sun/heat. And about the only thing I had to replace was the OEM battery died at 5yrs (from 2019). I experienced the same OEM battery death @ 5yrs with two previous 300S (2013 & 2014). Not really a negative but after I bought it, the ride was too smooth, untruck-like. So, I replaced the LongHorn 20s with OEM looking aftermarket 22s, which stiffened the ride a little. As the title noted, I traded that 19RAM for a 24RAM Limited. I recommend the 5th Generation-loaded RAM 1500 CrewCabs highly.

    • Diesel for the win

Bought a 2021 ecodiesel with 16k miles. Now have 42k miles and this thing is great for long trips, rides like a caddy but mpg has been as high as 30 mpg from calirado to Oregon and back. I think this one is geared for mpg and not towing, but I got it for the 33 gal tank, comfort (drove F150 and GMC no real comparison on ride or mpg), room and forgive me mass in case of accident. So far couple of recalls, one for fuel pump, but it hasn’t broke down, had electrical glitches, etc. The distance keeping cruise is great for stop and go, it will bring you to a complete stop. Things I don’t like are the split tailgate, works fine but have to slam it shut or it’ll give you open tailgate warning. If you don’t drive it weekly, the battery runs down quick due to all the electronics. I’m on my 3rd battery, now I keep it on a battery tender if out of town. Plenty of power, but it does have slight turbo lag getting away from stop signs, always when you don’t need iag ie speeding traffic bearing down on you. So if you want good mpg, great range for long trips or offroad (adjustable height suspension nice plus 33 gal tank) good comfort, adequate power, fairly quiet diesel, ability to do light towing up to about 9-10k lbs, the tonneau covered bed makes a huge trunk which is surprisingly dry in rain for travel, 360 camera view, this might be your truck!
