      New Frontier 2025, my first new pickup since my 1994 F150, I enjoy the quality we have received for the price of this midsize 4 door pickup. We needed something dependable and comfortable for average trips of 55 to 100 miles from the farm to the close by towns. This is also my first 4wd and has proven very useful when making our way to the pavement about 2 miles in the snow and rain this year even though it only has highway tires for the good ride on the highway. We have averaged 21 to 22 mpg since most trips are highway. I still use my old truck for the really dirty jobs around the farm but mostly retired now this is my go to town vehicle.…

      I recently purchased a 2025 Nissan Frontier PRO-X, and I can say this truck delivers exactly what I was looking for—a perfect balance between old-school feel and modern conveniences. What stands out most is how honest this truck feels. In a world where many vehicles are trying to do everything, the Frontier stays true to what a truck should be. It looks like a TRUCK—bold, sharp, and purposeful. There’s no mistaking it for anything else on the road. Under the hood, you’ve got a naturally aspirated 3.8L V6—and it shows. When you press the gas, it’ll put the “giddy up” in the “oom papa mow mow.” It’s responsive, strong, and doesn’t feel overcomplicated like some of the turbocharged setups out there. Now, fuel efficiency? Hey, what do you expect—it’s a 3.8-liter V6 truck! And honestly, it could be much worse. I’ll take the reliability and performance tradeoff any day. One thing some may point out is the heavier steering, but I actually really like it. It gives me a strong sense of connection—not just to the truck, but to the road itself. It feels controlled, planted, and confident. Let’s talk interior. Are some of the plastics hard? Yep. And I’m perfectly fine with that—I don’t want a soft, fragile-feeling truck. This interior feels like it’s built to last and built to be used. As for comfort, the seats are comfortable and supportive for me, even on longer drives. The backseat? My kids fit back there, and that’s what really matters. For reference, I’m a big fella, and I can actually fit behind my own driving position with the seat pretty much all the way back—that says a lot about the space in this truck. The infotainment system is also much improved compared to the 2022–2024 models. I find it to be one of the most responsive touchscreens I’ve used—quick, smooth, and easy to navigate. The 360-degree camera video quality isn’t the sharpest, but I’m not expecting movie theater quality either. Could it be better? Sure. But it absolutely does the job. The size and capability are just right for me. It’s not oversized, yet it still has the strength and utility I need. It strikes that perfect middle ground that makes it practical for everyday driving while still being ready to work when needed. I previously owned a 2022 Frontier SV when the redesign first came out, and I can definitely see improvements here. The fit and finish feel tighter and more refined, which shows that Nissan has continued to build on an already solid platform. It’s also already turned more than one head at the gas pump and in parking lots. This truck just has that look. And for those who like to personalize their ride, I love that there are tons of aftermarket accessories available—it makes it easy to make it your own. Is it the perfect truck? For me, it’s pretty darn close. All in all, this is a truck that knows exactly what it is—and does it well. Simple. Honest. Sharp looking. Exactly what a truck ought to be.…
